We are holding our first Regional Diversity Hui for 2024 in Waikato – come along to connect and network with other organisations championing this mahi in the local area.
Diversity Works New Zealand Chief Executive Maretha Smit will moderate a discussion on how increased polarisation and the spread of misinformation in society and our workplaces has the potential to undermine team cohesion and inclusion initiatives.
Diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) professionals are increasingly becoming crucial guides in navigating complex workplace dynamics but to do this effectively, their efforts need to be anchored in strong organisational policies designed to build cohesion.
Members will share how they are protecting their inclusive culture and promoting constructive dialogue amidst differing perspectives.
There will also be time for table discussion on this crucial topic plus an opportunity to hear about the latest resources Diversity Works New Zealand has developed to support organisations on their DEI journey, find out about our awards programme and enjoy whanaungatanga time with kai and tea and coffee.
