Embracing the energy of employee-led networks
Employee Action Groups (EAGs), Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) or Employee-Led Networks (ELNs)?
No matter the acronym, we seem to be able to agree that employee-led groups are key to the success of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) within our organisations.
At Diversity Works New Zealand, we don’t see DEI as an HR initiative, or a piece of work that solely sits with one individual, but as something that leadership plays a key role in enabling and should span the whole breadth of an organisation, embedded at every level. This provides a perfect opportunity for our employee networks to help drive change from within.
Join us for a panel discussion facilitated by Diversity Works New Zealand, where we will take a deep dive into how some of these groups have advanced their DEI mahi and are striving for success. Panellists will include kaimahi|staff from our generous hosts, Westpac New Zealand, as well as representatives from our Public Sector and SMEs.
It will be a valuable session for those looking to establish or grow employee networks, as well as those already involved in established networks to come along, learn and share your own experiences.
So come along to our kanohi-ki-te-kanohi|face-to-face hui for some learning opportunities, kai and networking time.
