Our webinar this month discusses what allyship looks like in different parts of the world.

Our Global Inclusion Diversity Alliance (GIDA) partner countries have all contributed to this event to enhance our understanding of allyship and how it works best in a range of workplace settings in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Asia.

The webinar will feature the perspectives of the four different communities that make up our GIDA partnership: Diversity Works New Zealand, Diversity Council Australia (DCA), Community Business (Asia) and the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion.

Diversity Sessions are interactive online conversations where we can deepen our understanding of inclusion issues impacting our organisations and our people. There will be an opportunity to ask our CE, Maretha Smit questions at the end of the pre-recorded conversation.

Our panel this month includes:

  • Janet Ledger (she/her), Chief Executive, Community Business, Hong Kong
  • Lisa Annese (she/her), Chief Executive, Diversity Council Australia
  • Maretha Smit (she/her), Chief Executive, Diversity Works New Zealand
  • Jeiz Robles (she/her), Director of DE&!, Community Business, Thailand
  • Marni Panas (she/her) Chair of Board, Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion, Canada

GIDA is a global alliance of peak bodies focusing on diversity and inclusion in the workplace. GIDA partners act together to make workplaces more equitable and to provide a community of practice.

Join us for this special webinar that taps into this international expertise.
