We're excited to be hosting a Regional Diversity Hui in Tāmaki Makaurau – join us to connect and network with fellow organisations dedicated to advancing this important work in the local community.
Maretha Smit, Chief Executive of Diversity Works New Zealand, will lead a discussion on the impact of increased polarisation and the spread of misinformation on team cohesion and inclusion efforts within our workplaces and society at large.
DEI professionals are playing an increasingly vital role in navigating complex workplace dynamics. However, for their efforts to be effective, they must be supported by robust organisational policies aimed at fostering cohesion.
Members will exchange strategies for preserving their inclusive cultures and fostering constructive dialogue in the face of diverse perspectives.
There will be opportunities for roundtable discussions on this critical topic, as well as updates on the latest tools, resources and support from Diversity Works New Zealand to aid organisations on their DEI journey. Additionally, attendees can learn about what’s going on in their local DEI community and enjoy refreshments while building connections.
